The Hair Tailor is built around the experience. From the moment you walk into the door until the moment you leave, each moment of your appointment has been carefully thought out. The Hair Tailor space is unique, tucked up on the third-floor of the historic Isaac Staples Sawmill building with a beautiful view of the St. Croix River, you’ll likely notice the character of the old art studio floors right away and the beautiful natural lighting that fills the salon. Each design element brought into the shop was an intentional decision and every piece weaves together creating a refined and sophisticated yet approachable and relaxing space.
You can expect to be greeted warmly and treated as though you’re the only one in the salon from the moment you step through the door. You’ll have your choice between a delicious cup of local, organic River Moon coffee or espresso, a hand-crafted seasonal cocktail, or a chilled glass of beer while you relax on the emerald velvet couch.
Don’t worry, things only get comfier.
Your appointment is always in either in one of our very, very comfy chairs and if not, you’ll only being leaving for one of the best shampoos, head massages and hot towel treatments of your life. We also offer a refreshing essential-oil facial spray that leaves you absolutely restored before moving back to your stylists station. Here, leaving with a fresh hair is the bare minimum.
