What are my parking options?

You’re more than welcome to use street parking on the North end of Downtown Stillwater, just keep in mind there is a 3-hour limit in the street parking spaces. We encourage you to use the parking lot in front of the Isaac Staples building any time you stop into The Hair Tailor (especially if you’re anticipating a longer appointment). Anyone visiting the salon is considered our guest and can park in that lot free of charge.

Where is your building located?

We are located downtown Stillwater, MN in the Isaac Staples building on the north end of town. For more detailed directions and a map of the area, please visit our contact page here.

Does your building have elevator access?

The charming nature of our building doesn’t come without some quirky characteristics. Our elevator is one of them. Reserved for clients that need it, we are more than happy to oblige and assist to access it. 

Accessing the elevator will first require locating the rear of the building (it is an outside entrance). The alleyway can be found on the south side of the building. Following the curved drive to the back of the building, the elevator doors will be found at the end of the drive, nearest the garbage containers. 

Please call us at the front desk when you arrive and we will be down to chauffeur right away!

If you are dropping someone off, we’ll take it from there and see you upon your return in the same fashion. If you are the client yourself and need to stay parked in the alley, not a problem. Please attempt to park furthest to one side or the other of the alleyway if possible (other tenants need to utilize this drive and elevator from time to time and need space to park as well). We will slip a handicap sticker under your windshield to ensure your parking isn’t questioned.
