First Impressions from the Apprentice

As with any new hire at The Hair Tailor, we like to ask them… “is there anything surprising that you’ve learned or is there anything that’s different than you expected?” When we are so immersed in our space, our clients and with our team, it can be SO good to get a fresh perspective from someone that’s new to the crew. So naturally, we opened the conversation with our newest stylist apprentice, Linsey.

Here’s what she had to say:

“I’ve been at the Hair Tailor for almost a month now and I’ve already learned so much. The atmosphere is truly unlike any other salon I’ve been in. From the small details of getting a little drink to making every client have their dream hair… each and every stylist has something different that they teach me, I look up to every single one of them. From working closely with Jenna or just shadowing the other girls I have already taken in so much more knowledge and skills then I could imagine! This has helped me feel more confident in my skills as a stylist, and being able to apply that knowledge to the clients I’ve had so far has been amazing. I’m super excited to get to know all my future clients and to enjoy everything Stillwater has to offer. And what I’ve found most surprising is how welcoming and nice and funny everyone is. They made me feel comfortable right away, and I feel like I get closer to everyone each day. There is truly no drama in the salon and boy that is hard to find! “

If you know our team, you know we’re a pretty awesome team so we’re excited for Linsey to get to settle in even more and to grow her confidence and skills as a stylist.
